A hero isn’t someone out of a comic book or a movie. A hero is someone who does something out of bravery knowing that it may take there life away, but save the life of there best friend who may be fighting right next to them, or save a group of people from an IED or any other form of a weapon knowing that they may lose there life, legs, arms, or never walk, see or move again. A hero is someone who when you ask them about deployment and going to Afghanistan they say ” I’m ready” they don’t complain or say they don’t want to go, I am so grateful to have someone who I can call my hero and someone I can be proud of for serving our country, I love my cousin and couldn’t be more proud of him and I am so blessed that he came home safely and in one piece from deployment. Some families are not so lucky and they lose a father, daughter, son, mother, wife, husband etc due to war, so if you have someone in any branch of military be blessed and cherish the moments you have with them <3
